Who we are
MugheryDev provides SiteClock, a workforce attendance and site operations app used by workers, supervisors, and administrators. SiteClock can be deployed for an employer or organization, and that employer or organization may operate or configure the backend that receives and stores SiteClock data.
What data SiteClock collects
Depending on your role and how your organization uses the app, SiteClock may process:
- your full name, email address, phone number, employee ID, job title, and company or employer information;
- your profile image and camera photos or selfies used for profile images or attendance verification;
- attendance records, including clock-in, clock-out, break activity, attendance history, timesheets, approvals, and payroll-related review records;
- site assignment information, worksite details, and notes entered during attendance actions;
- precise location data, including clock event locations and location route points or location pings while tracking is active; and
- administrative and reporting data used for oversight, review, workforce coordination, and operational reporting.
Camera and photo use
SiteClock only uses camera access when the user actively chooses to take a photo or selfie, such as when updating a profile image or completing an attendance verification step. Camera access is user-initiated and is not described here as continuously active in the background.
Location and background location use
SiteClock can use precise location to verify clock-in and clock-out activity, confirm site presence, support active shift tracking, and record background location pings while tracking is enabled. This can include route points or periodic location records during an active shift or while the tracking feature is in use by the organization. If location permission is denied or disabled, some attendance or tracking features may not work correctly.
How data is used
- to sign users in and maintain account access for workers, supervisors, and administrators;
- to manage profiles, site assignments, attendance actions, breaks, timesheets, payroll review, and time off workflows;
- to verify attendance events, including the time and place of clock-in, clock-out, and related actions;
- to support live location tracking and workforce visibility during active shifts when tracking is enabled;
- to support employer or administrator oversight, review, approvals, reporting, dispute handling, and operational management; and
- to maintain service functionality, investigate issues, protect against misuse, and provide support.
Who data may be shared with
SiteClock data may be shared with or made available to the user's employer, organization administrators, supervisors, payroll reviewers, and others authorized by the organization operating the service. Data may also be sent to and stored by the organization's configured SiteClock backend. MugheryDev may also access limited information when needed to provide support, maintain the service, troubleshoot issues, respond to lawful requests, or protect the security and integrity of the app and related systems.
On-device storage
SiteClock stores authentication tokens and small app settings on the device using secure storage so the app can keep the user signed in and preserve basic app state and preferences between sessions.
Retention
Retention periods can depend on the employer or organization operating the SiteClock backend, the type of record involved, and legal, payroll, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligations. Attendance, payroll-related, location, and approval records may be kept for different periods depending on operational and compliance requirements.
User choices and rights
Users may be able to review or update some profile details inside the app and can manage camera and location permissions through their device settings. Because SiteClock is often used on behalf of an employer or organization, requests for access, correction, deletion, or account help may first need to go through the employer or organization administrator that controls the SiteClock environment. You can also contact MugheryDev at [email protected] for privacy or support questions.
Children's privacy
SiteClock is intended for workplace attendance and site operations use. It is not designed for children.
Changes to the policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect product updates, workflow changes, legal requirements, or operational changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
